(Please leave dogs at home or in your vehicle)
Every year we host a Holiday Potluck for our members and any one who is interested in MTBCH.

MTBCH will be providing a turkey and a ham.

There will be a White Horse (like White Elephant) party. If you want to participate - bring a horse related item of an approximately $20 value. Rules for the game are below.

White Horse Rules: Each player brings one wrapped gift. Numbers will be drawn to dictate the order in which they play. When it is the players turn - they have a choice of choosing a remaining gift under the tree or stealing another player's (no immediate restealing, though). At the end, each player leaves with the gift they are holding.

Funds from this years Poker Ride are going towards the Hardscrabble Open Space project.  MTBCH has been in collaboration with the Eagle County Open Space in regard to equestrian trail access.  The support from all of you will allow us to create signage and adequate trailer parking.  This is an exciting project for us and we are looking forward to giving back to our horse community with this endeavor.

This years ride would not be possible without the support of our sponsors.  We would like to give a special thank you to Buckhorn Valley and Green Valley Homes for hosting our ride and donating to our cause.

Mountain Trekkers BCH has decided to participate in the Adopt - A - Trail program run by the Vail Valley Mountain Trails Alliance in partnership with the USFS.  We have adopted McKenzie Gulch trail which is located on FS 400 (West Brush Creek Rd) amist Sylvan Lake State Park in Eagle.

We had our first work day on Friday May 31, 2019.  After a long winter and wet spring we made our way through 75% of the trail.  We cleared brush and built a water drainage.  Our next work day will consist of another water drainage and bucking a couple of fallen trees.
